French Food

I've been to Paris, very briefly, three times before.  But Marcus has never been!  So we're hitting the main sites while we're here -- the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, the Sacre Coeur, the Louvre... but also a few places I haven't been in the past... Versailles, Luxembourg Gardens, the Musee D'Orsay, and Musee de L'Orangerie, if we have time.  Moreover, we decided that we'd make a conscious effort to eat as much delicious food as we can while we're here.  So, I did some digging on food blogs and made a map of many of the "bests" in Paris.  Today, we walked and biked our way through as many of the sites and eats as we could.  Collectively, we ate 3 croissants (2 regular; 1 chocolate), 2 baguettes, 1 nutella-banana-strawberry crepe, 1 cassis sorbet, 1 fennel-peppercorn-citrus goat cheese, some olive tapenade, some fig jam, some French butter, 2 peaches, and a half bottle of rose.  Marcus surprised both of us by being wowed by Notre Dame, and I vowed never to use Paris's bikeshare ever again.  Tomorrow, I will try to relearn how to use my DSLR in time to take some real pictures of Versailles.

Oh, and by the way, Macron is making it real:  Make Our Planet Great Again
